A report on the National Premiere of
'The Voyage that Shook The World'

Once again it was a joy to see the Parliamentary Theatrette full of interested Christians, eager to join together to learn about and support the influence the Christian Democratic Party is having in the NSW Parliament and in the community.
We continue to present our positive and exciting vision for the future in our monthly Christian Worldview Forums hosted by Rev Hon Fred Nile and led by Pastor Peter Rahme in the NSW Parliament. These events, held on the first Wednesday of the month, bring our growing number of members and supporters together for opportunities to hear first class Christian speakers, attend premiere film events, enjoy fine Christian musicians, be introduced to Christian authors and hear up to date reports of State and Federal legislation being raised, for prayer and practical intervention. Many ungodly laws are being passed in our State and it is essential we maintain our presence of salt and light in the Parliament.
Today was the film premiere of The Voyage That Shook the World, outlining Charles Darwin’s life and the voyage that ultimately brought him to the conclusions outlined in his book Origin of Species.
This first class documentary was enjoyed thoroughly by those present and we were pleased to hear that this documentary will soon be released in many theatres across the nation. We recommend that all Churches and Fellowships obtain a copy in an endeavour to counteract the damage Darwin’s theories have wreaked across the centuries.
As it outlined in the publicity, this documentary film presents an incredible opportunity for every dad, mum and ordinary layperson to stand up and be counted. Whenever you hear an expert on the TV, radio or in print you can respond by referring to this high-class documentary, featuring experts from many camps. It gently but powerfully challenges the viewer to “think again”, with information about which most are unaware, as to what helped shape his views. It also dares to reveal how many of the evidences that helped convince him of evolution and ‘millions of years” were, in the light of modern science, clearly misinterpreted by Darwin.
Miss Celeste Baissari, worship leader at the Glorious Hope Baptist Church Toongabbie, was the guest soloist. Dr Mark Harwood of Creation Ministries summed up expertly following the film and took questions from the audience. Our next Christian Worldview Forum will be on 6th May in the Jubilee Room where we will celebrate the 61st Anniversary of the establishment of the Modern State of Israel. We have invited speakers Pastor Greg and Judy Willis from Timeline Ministries and a visit by a “Royal Personage”. The theme will be Israel – Where Heaven Meets Earth. Book early as seats are limited.
